Tour and Caterpillar update
Rose’s welts have gone down a bit with the use of antihistamine tablets and time. They’re pretty angry on her stomach and arms still, but they’re not keeping her awake so much at night and are just mildly itchy rather than wildly itchy bee stings.
Walking home from walking Rose to work this morning, I saw an entire line of these bastards walking across the footpath to the road which reminds me of something I didn’t tell you about.
Cape Levique Tour
Rose will probably be writing about this soon so I’ll keep it brief, but we took this tour free from Rose’s work, Kimberly Sightseeing Centre and on the way, we saw this line of caterpillars crossing the dirt road, with a defiant frill neck lizard standing in the middle of them.
The caterpillars were walking under this lizard’s back leg and he was standing ‘errect’ looking at the bus, with a “come on bitch” look on his face.
Anyway, I think he was just standing at the end of the caterpillar train singing the Lemmings theme song, eating them one at a time until he had his fill.
I’m sure I could hear one of them say “Leett’s go!” then start walking. “OOH NO!” *pop* *pop* *pop*. (Anyone not knowing the game “Lemmings” right now won’t know what the hell I’m talking about. So nevermind.)
Anyway, when I saw the caterpillars today I got on my face and rolled over the pack of them laughing. We’ll see what happens. I feel the urgent need to out-do Rose. Covered with toxic spines with the flu. I WIN!
