Rose and Sam's Excellent Adventure

I sound my barbaric LOL over the rooftops of the world.

Good Morning Siem Reap

Woke up about 45 times last night. The bed is wicked. It’s big and HARD. (or was that just me?). It’s strange. You lie on it, and only your spine sinks in. Damn good as my back has been a bit sore and spasmy recently.

Tried breakfast here at the Smiley Guesthouse this morning. Simple. Toast and butter and I lathered my vegemite on it for a awesome B12 hit. (take that mosquitos) and Rose had a baguette avec honey.
The bread was so strange looking. Pristine like it was poured from a mould, and tasted like x-ont. (That’s right, cool spelling for French words)

We’re checking out the river more today, Tonle Sap River I think it’s called, and the Landmine Museum. Giving the war museum a miss as I think it’s run by a ranging funt who bribed people, landing the ex landmine clearer owner of the landmine museum in jail more than once.

Found an AWESOME market yesterday and (wtf. italian guy next to me just said la cosa nostra… anyway) complete with the crazy market stuff we saw on youtube (chris, aaron etc) including huge buckets of fried crickets. Trying to knock some tart down on a nice, small, brass Buddha statue from $4. If she folds and hits $3 she’s in business.

Ok, flipside mah wiggaz. Going to try to upload some photos today. But it’s depending on Cambodian internet. So you’ll excuse me if I can’t find a nice 20Mb wireless stream anywhere.

searched the mothers support for x-ont without success. guess you mean eggs on toast?

  2. Pete says:

Speaking of funny signs, I saw a great shop there called “Same Same … Yet Different”.

    Love it.

Hey Pete – Yeah, ever market (I mean, literally every market stall) sells the same tshirts, one of them is “Same Same – But Different”. You see it everywhere. Ironic. Everything is the Same Same in the markets. Never different.

Papa: X-ont – Crossaunt. Keep up the good work =)

  4. Pete says:

I think that makes it even funnier. Gotta love the irony.
